Sienna Liu is a writer and literary translator living in New York City. She is the author of Specimen (Split/Lip Press, forthcoming in 2025) and Square (Black Sunflowers Poetry Press, 2022). Sienna Liu grew up in Shanghai and currently lives in Brooklyn, NY. She has a poetry chapbook, ‘Square,’ published by Black Sunflowers Poetry Press in 2022. Her prose and poetry appeared in Cotton Xenomorph, A Velvet Giant, Lit 202, etc. She also works as a English-Chinese translator. Her translation of Rachel Cusk’s ‘Second Place’ and Claire-Louise Bennett’s ‘Checkout 19’ are both forthcoming in China.
